Caring for Texas Hospitality's Jewelry
This care information & policy is for ALL of our jewelry in our store to ensure long lasting results. It is the buyer’s responsibility to take care of their purchases for long lasting results.
To ensure your jewelry is long lasting please do NOT wear our jewelry while you are sleeping. Please make sure to remove the jewelry piece(s) before going to sleep.
To ensure your jewelry is long lasting please do NOT shower, swim, or get any of Texas Hospitality’s jewelry pieces wet.
Please be sure to store your jewelry in a dry area and not in your bathroom. Moist or humid areas can also cause tarnishing. Jewelry can tarnish if it is not taken care of properly.
.925 Sterling Silver (SS) means 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals. I would not recommend getting this wet at all, because when getting silver wet it will cause it to tarnish. Many people actually seal their Sterling Silver jewelry in zip-lock bags after using it to prevent tarnishing. Supposedly air, humidity, moisture, and water causes tarnishing in silver. Please be sure to store your necklace in a dry area and not in your bathroom. Moist or humid areas can also cause tarnishing. I know many people often believe sterling silver will not cause tarnishing, but it actually requires a lot of care, and of course people use this to prevent irritation and allergic reactions if they are sensitive to other metal types.
Sterling Silver chains are available for all of necklaces and necklace sets.
Sterling Silver bracelets are also an available option for our bracelets.
Sterling Silver earring hooks available for all dangle earrings.
Please contact us via email or click on the "request a custom order" if you would like a jewelry piece made with sterling silver.
Nickel & Lead Free
Nickel and lead free jewelry is a wonderful advantage especially if you have sensitive skin. Nickel is known to cause itchy and irritation to your skin. If you have sensitive skin or worried about breaking out please choose option one for the chain you'd like, nickel and lead free is a safe metal that will not cause you to break out.
Almost all of our pendants/charms (about 97%) are nickel and lead free. All items that are nickel and lead free are typically listed in the description.
Option 1, 2, 3 chains are nickel and lead free.
All of our earrings are Nickel & lead free (unless they are .925 sterling silver)!
Belly Ring Information & Care
If you have recently got your navel pierced you should leave your bar in until the area is 100% healed before changing it to a new one. Please be aware if you switch out your belly ring before it is healed it could result to your piercing closing. If you are not sure if your piercing is fully healed go to the person who pierced your belly button and ask them.
Do NOT soak the belly bar in alcohol. If you would like to sterilize your belly ring simply put alcohol on a cotton ball and gently wipe the bar. To prevent infection every time you insert a belly ring the bar should be cleaned with alcohol.
Please do not sleep with our belly rings on - do not shower or swim with your belly ring on - do not wear your belly ring during rough activities (sports, etc.)
Only the top ball screws off on our belly rings.
We have Stainless Steel and Surgical Steel bars available for all of our belly rings. If you need a different metal please contact us.
